Thompson Smith and Puxon welcomes new addition to Corporate team
Thompson Smith and Puxon are pleased to announce that Solicitor Rebecca Abiona has joined the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team, led by Director and Senior Partner Mary Anne Fedeyko. Rebecca will join Directors Caroline Nicholls and Nick Mayles, Senior Associate Nicola Rout and trainee solicitor Holly Regan, based in TSP’s Colchester office.
TSP’s Corporate and Commercial Team covers a wide variety of sectors and advises on the full range of corporate and commercial matters; including complex and high-value reorganisations, partnerships, acquisitions, disposals, private equity investments and commercial contracts for regional as well as national and international clients. The team has had a busy start to the year, so are delighted to grow the team with Rebecca’s appointment.
Rebecca qualified in August 2020 having trained at a silver circle firm, then consulted for a well-regarded city firm specialising in technology and innovation and most recently worked as in-house legal counsel for an award-winning global restaurant business. Rebecca has experience in dealing with a variety of company and commercial matters, often in the context of large-scale business services across multiple regions. Her international work includes managing cross-border regulatory, logistical, and cultural considerations and ensuring regulatory compliance across international markets as well as advising on brand expansion, management agreements and partnerships.
