Thompson Smith and Puxon Supports International Sale in Strategic Hospitality Tech Deal

Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP)’s Corporate and Commercial team has advised Simon Alexander on the cross-border sale of UK-based Hotel Technology Management (HTM) Ltd (HTM) to Passman Group.

HTM is a leading provider of technology solutions to the hospitality sector, offering IT infrastructure, telephony systems, digital signage, Wi-Fi and TV and casting services. The business has now joined Passman Group, a major European provider of digital solutions for the hospitality industry, marking a significant step in its international growth strategy and ensuring a smooth transition for ongoing success of HTM’s business.

The TSP team was led by Caroline Nicholls (Partner, Head of Corporate and Commercial), with support from Rebecca Abiona (Solicitor, Corporate and Commercial), Marie Allen (Senior Associate, Employment) and Alex Butler-Zagni (Senior Associate, Commercial Property). The team also worked closely alongside HTM’s accountant Chris Barber of Barber & Company and French lawyer Maxime Ponsan of Vestis, ensuring seamless advice in tight timescales, without compromising on quality of service.
