Thompson Smith and Puxon Strengthens Wills and Estates Team with NQ Solicitor Appointment
Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) has announced that Kurtis Symons-Peck has qualified as a Solicitor and joined the firm’s Wills and Estates team.
Kurtis joined TSP in 2023 after completing his studies at the University of York. Since then, he has quickly established himself as a valued member of the team, recognised for his approachable manner and commitment to delivering a high standard of client care.
During his time at university, Kurtis was commended for both his technical understanding of the law and his ability to empathise with the real-world challenges faced by clients, with his work described as “exemplar for future students”.
Now qualifying into TSP’s highly regarded Wills and Estates team, Kurtis will continue to support clients with clear, practical advice on a wide range of private client matters.
Alongside his legal career, Kurtis plays an active role in his family’s farm and vineyard, giving him a personal understanding of the challenges facing the agricultural community and family-run businesses. This perspective enables him to provide particularly empathetic and commercially aware advice to clients in the rural sector.
The Wills and Estates team continues to go from strength to strength, known for its specialist expertise, holistic approach and commitment to delivering tailored advice to individuals, families and business owners. Kurtis’ qualification further strengthens the team as it continues to grow.
Head of Wills and Estates, Robert Ashworth comments: “Congratulations to Kurtis on his qualification. He has developed into a capable and thoughtful solicitor, with a strong focus on client care. His natural empathy and understanding of rural and family business issues make him a real asset to the team and our clients.”
Speaking on the celebratory news of his qualification, Kurtis said: “I’m delighted to be qualifying into the Wills and Estates team at TSP. I have really enjoyed developing my experience during my training contract and look forward to continuing to support clients with matters that are often both personal and important to their long-term planning.”
