Nicola joined TSP in 2010 and is Head of Client Services and Compliance. TSP is committed to providing a high quality service to its clients and Nicola, as her title suggests, is responsible for ensuring that this is the case, as well as dealing with any concerns that clients may have.
The compliance part of Nicola’s role covers a number of areas including ensuring TSP complies with the many regulatory and statutory duties that come with being a firm of solicitors, including our Anti-Money Laundering responsibilities. She is also responsible for the maintenance of the firm’s Law Society accreditations, Lexcel and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
Nicola, who was born in North East Essex and has lived locally all of her life, attended the Colchester County High School for Girls before going on to complete her degree in Accountancy Finance and Economics at the University in Essex. She then pursued a career in retail for many years collecting Post Graduate Diplomas in Marketing and Business Administration along the way.
In her spare time, come rain or shine, she enjoys watching her two teenage sons play football and if time allows likes to relax with a good book or film – crime and horror stories are preferred!
Nicola is a Dementia Friend, an Alzheimer’s Society scheme which aims to raise awareness of what it’s like to live with dementia and how people living with it can be helped. Find out more about the scheme and how TSP is involved here.
