I am a specialist Court of Protection Assistant, working within the Care, Capacity and Court of Protection subdivision of the Wills and Estates Team at Thompson Smith and Puxon.
Having joined the firm in November 2007, I previously worked within the Company Commercial and Wills and Estates teams. I was appointed to the Court of Protection Team in January 2023 and run the Deputyship and Attorney administration files and assist with Trust registrations alongside wider work within the team. I work closely with in-house Deputies Steven Webb and Georgia Bolton.
I passed my foundation CILEX CPQ and qualified as a CILEX Paralegal in March 2025.
Having worked at TSP for 16 years, I have watched the clients I work with so closely, grow over the years. Working with families, carers and individuals on such a personal level requires connection, passion and a genuine interest in someone’s wellbeing. This is something which I enjoy about my work, I love seeing the difference I can make in someone’s life, even more so when I get to see their smiling faces first hand.
