TSP Congratulates Will Quince on His Next Chapter With 1001 Critical Days Foundation

Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) congratulates Associate Solicitor Will Quince as he moves into a new role as Chief Executive Officer of the 1001 Critical Days Foundation. This step reflects his continued commitment to supporting families and children in the community.

Re-joining TSP in 2024 after serving as the Member of Parliament for Colchester for over nine years, Will made a strong contribution to the firm’s Commercial Property team, working alongside Legal 500 Leading Partner Stephen Firmin.

Earlier this year, Will was promoted to Associate Solicitor in recognition of his expertise, commitment, and the confidence he earned from colleagues and clients.

As he closes this chapter of his legal career, Will will continue his long-standing focus on supporting families and children. His move builds on the work he championed during his time representing Colchester and aligns closely with the mission of the 1001 Critical Days Foundation, which focuses on giving every baby the best possible start in life.

Founded by The Right Honourable Dame Andrea Leadsom, the 1001 Critical Days Foundation supports new families and promotes the importance of the first 1001 days, from pregnancy to age two, in shaping a child’s emotional and physical development.

Commenting on his move, Will said: “After a decade in public and political service, I have had an enjoyable year outside politics, back in the law, reacquainting myself with old colleagues, meeting new ones, and working with valued clients and professional contacts at TSP. The opportunity to lead the 1001 Critical Days Foundation and help deliver its mission that every baby should have the best start in life is hugely exciting.”

Congratulating Will, TSP’s Chief Executive Officer, Sean Stuttaford, said: “Will’s move continues his long-standing commitment to supporting families and children, building on the work he championed during his time representing Colchester. Working with Will across his two stints at TSP has been a privilege. We wanted to share this update as the 1001 Critical Days Foundation does important work, and Will is genuinely passionate about its mission. We fully support him and wish him every success as Chief Executive Officer.”
