10th Annual Charity Quiz Raises Over £2,500

The 10th Annual Charity Quiz jointly hosted by Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP), Jamesons and Barclays was held on Wednesday (24th May) at Frinton Golf Club. In the ten years the quiz has been running, over £25,000 has been raised for local good causes thanks to the generosity and support of local businesses. This year the quiz was held in aid of the Dream 100 Kids Trust.

Twenty three teams representing businesses across the region took part in the quiz, with TSP Director and Employment Solicitor, Richard Porter, as Compère for the second year. After 10 competitive rounds the winners were 'Green Square' a team from Green Square Communications closely followed in second place by 'Count on Jamesons' -  a team from the joint hosts.

An excellent fun evening was had by all and the event raised a grand total of £2,530 including £1,000 of matched funding pledged by Barclays. TSP Senior Partner, Mary Anne Fedeyko, presented the cheque to Paul Morris, who hosts the Dream 100 drivetime show. The Dream 100 Kids Trust is a charity run by Radio Station 'Dream 100' which raises money for disadvantaged children and their families in Essex.
