Simona, who qualified as a Solicitor in June 2020 joined the TSP Dispute Resolution team in July 2021. She advises clients on a wide and varied range of general litigation matters including; landlord and tenant disputes, breach of contract disputes, consumer disputes, construction disputes, neighbour disputes, harassment and injunctions, debt recovery, insolvency and contentious probate. Simona is based in our Colchester office and is supervised by Sharon Auton.

Simona obtained her Law Degree from the University of Northampton in 2014 before completing her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. Prior to joining TSP Simona has worked in Dispute Resolution as a Paralegal and then a Solicitor across a number of firms in Essex and London.

Simona says “My passion for dispute resolution developed during my training, what I enjoy about this area of law is the challenges it presents, I am constantly dealing with different cases and not one day is the same. More importantly the Dispute Resolution Team at TSP are incredible to work with and are always on hand to assist.”

In her spare time Simona has been known to take on physical challenges and has completed a half marathon and the three peaks challenge. She is also involved in voluntary work in helping her local community.

In 2021/22 the Legal 500 said: At Thompson Smith and Puxon, the practice is led by chartered legal executive Sharon Auton, who has more than 20 years of litigation experience and is also a trained mediator. Laura-Pauline Adcock-Jones is another qualified mediator in the group, whose work includes property litigation, as well as disputes arising from breaches of contract, contentious probate, professional negligence and consumer law matters.
