Colchester and Clacton-based law firm Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) are pleased to announce a new addition to the Residential Property team.
The Colchester team has been boosted by the arrival of Licensed Conveyancer Nadine Parker-Stamford. Nadine (right) is local to the North-East Essex area, having attended Philip Morant School before going on to study at Colchester Sixth Form College.
Nadine embarked on her legal career in 2002, working as a legal secretary / PA. In 2007, whilst still working, she started studying at Chelmsford College (distance learning) to become a Licensed Conveyancer, qualifying in 2012. Since her qualification she has worked as a Licensed Conveyancer in Ipswich and Colchester law firms and advises clients on all areas of residential conveyancing.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as travelling, experiencing new cultures, and learning languages. She is currently studying towards a BA (hons) degree in French and Spanish. Nadine grew up in a military family, and her husband also served with the army, so she is well aware of the legal issues which can arise for military families.
Laura Finnigan (left), who leads the TSP Residential Property team, said “I would very much like to welcome Nadine to the team. The TSP Residential Property team, which is based in both our Colchester and Clacton offices, has, over the past few years, bucked the downturn in the housing market and now continues to grow as the housing market gathers pace once again. The team is exceptionally well-placed to be able to offer our clients an added-value property service tailored to their individual needs.”
The team deals with all aspects of residential sales and purchases, including;
- Mortgages and re-mortgages
- New builds (for developers or purchasers)
- Investment purchases
- Shared ownership purchases
- Property transfers
- Landlord and tenant advice
- Lease extensions
The TSP Residential Property team is a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) – the mark of excellence in the home-buying process. The Law Society introduced the scheme to promote high standards. It ensures high levels of service and enables clients to recognise practices which provide a quality residential conveyancing service.
