Clacton and Colchester-based law firm Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) is delighted to announce the appointment of Solicitor, Pragna Chhagan to the Wills and Estates team.
Pragna, who was admitted as a solicitor in 2013, went to school in Colchester before taking her degree in Law and French Law at the University of Reading. Since qualifying she has specialised in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the Administration of Estates and is looking forward to building further on her experience with TSP. Pragna is a Dementia Friend. This is an Alzheimer’s Society scheme which aims to give people knowledge about what it’s like to live with dementia and how people with it can be helped. In her spare time she enjoys salsa dancing, swimming, reading and spending time with friends.

Pragna says “I am really pleased to be joining TSP’s Wills and Estates team, which has an excellent reputation in Colchester and the surrounding areas for offering effective advice. In particular I will enjoy being part of a larger team and the opportunities that this will present for me to continue my career development as a private client solicitor”.

Fiona Ashworth, TSP Director and Team Leader added “The TSP Wills and Estates team has gone from strength to strength during the last year and Pragna’s appointment brings the number of lawyers in our highly-qualified and talented private client team to ten. I am sure that Pragna will be very happy here and on behalf of the Directors and Staff at TSP wish her every happiness in her new role with us.”

The TSP Wills and Estates team provides a friendly and professional service which is based on understanding our clients’ objectives. We know that in many instances we will be advising you during a very difficult and distressing time.

On a practical level, we have car parking and easy access for all clients, and both our Clacton and Colchester offices are disabled-friendly. The team can also offer home, care home or hospital visits for those unable to travel.
