Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) Clinical Negligence solicitor Naomi Eady was pleased and proud to have completed the London Marathon recently.
Naomi, wearing her medal, is pictured after finishing the marathon with TSP colleagues Stacey Anderson (left) and Emma Town (right) who travelled to London to support her. Naomi completed the 26 miles and 385 yards in 4 hours and 21 minutes – 9 minutes ahead of the 4 ½ hour target that she had set herself. Well done Naomi!
Naomi was running for the charity Crohn’s and Colitis UK and managed to raise more than £3,000. Naomi, who did not pick the charity at random said “I want to say a big thank you to my family and friends and the Directors and staff at TSP who were so generous in the support they gave me. I can’t quite believe how much I raised but I am so pleased because my family is touched by these diseases which are now thought to be genetic.”
More info about Crohn’s and Colitis UK
Crohn’s and Colitis UK is a relatively small charity but it is expanding and doing a fantastic job supporting the 250,000 Crohn’s and Colitis sufferers in the UK.
Crohn’s and Colitis are two different diseases, but both affect the bowel; they are classed as inflammatory bowel diseases, which are very different from the more commonly-suffered irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), with which they should not be confused. Visit their website at www.nacc.org.uk
