Congratulations to Matthew Robins who has recently been appointed as Court of Protection Paralegal and is the main contact for Court of Protection and Deputyship matters at Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP).

Matthew is based in our Colchester office within the Wills and Estates team. His new role covers a range of Court of Protection matters and he assists Director Steve Webb, under the supervision of Associate Solicitor Sarah White (Clacton) and Solicitor Hayley Weston (Colchester) with the provision of administration and legal services for the firm’s Court of Protection and Deputyship clients; managing the property and finances of adults and children without capacity, who have received substantial clinical negligence and personal injury awards following successful claims by our litigation department.

Steve Webb, who leads the TSP Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury teams said “I am very pleased that the firm now has a dedicated paralegal role for this very important work for our most vulnerable clients. The introduction of the role is testament to the excellent work that the firm has done over many years for the victims of catastrophic injury and medical malpractice. On behalf of everyone at TSP I would like to wish Matthew every success in his new role.”
