TSP was pleased once again to support the Dream 100 Local Hero awards and this year sponsored the Best New Business category.
The Local Hero Awards were introduced in 2014 to recognise the unsung heroes in the Dream 100 broadcast area (Colchester, Manningtree, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich and across North Essex) who contribute so much to our community in so many different ways.
Listeners were asked to nominate their local heroes either online or at designated nomination points across the area and 15 category winners were presented with their awards at a Gala ceremony, hosted by Dom (breakfast presenter) and magician Michael J Fitch, at Playgolf, on the evening of Thursday 30 March.
TSP Chief Operating Officer, Sean Stuttaford presented the award on the evening and he was joined at the event by TSP Associate Solicitors Carly Callaghan (Residential Property), Clare Sheeran (Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury) and Sarah White (Wills and Estates).
Best New Business winners were Frankie and Ky, the owners of Poppy’s Parlour, a dog grooming business in Clacton. The ladies started their business from scratch about a year ago and during that time have moved into their own shop, premises that are 3-4 times larger than where they started out.
