The Tendring Business Leaders Association (TBLA), founded and hosted by Clacton and Colchester-based businesses, Thompson Smith and Puxon Solicitors and Jamesons Accountants, met for lunch today (Friday 22nd April 2016) at the Lifehouse Hotel and Spa in Thorpe-le-Soken.

The speaker at the meeting today was Member of Parliament for Harwich and North Essex, Bernard Jenkin. Introduced to the room by Jamesons’ Managing Director Alan Brown, Bernard spoke about the upcoming EU referendum, his support for the Leave campaign and his reasons for it. After speaking he answered questions from the audience and the subject was debated into lunch.

The group enjoyed an excellent meal provided by the Lifehouse and following lunch Thompson Smith and Puxon Managing Partner, Steve Webb, closed the meeting with a few words. It is intended that the next meeting of the group will take place towards the end of June and the date will be confirmed as soon as it is known.
