Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) is pleased to announce a new addition to the Corporate and Commercial team, Solicitor Nicola Rout.
Nicola advises clients on a broad range of Corporate and Commercial matters but specialises in insolvency and restructuring. Nicola has a wealth of experience acting for companies, investment banks and hedge funds, including acting on debt for equity swaps, debt restructurings and pre-pack administrations.
Nicola obtained her law degree from Oxford University in 1998 before gaining her Diploma in Legal Practice from Nottingham Law School in 1999. She then joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer to undertake her training contract qualifying into the Restructuring and Insolvency team. I enjoy helping companies overcome the obstacles they face by providing them with practical and timely advice and I am excited to offer that alongside the wide range of Corporate and Commercial services that the team already offers. ”
Mary Anne Fedeyko, Senior Partner at TSP said “On behalf of the Directors and staff at TSP I would very much like to welcome Nicola to the firm. She brings invaluable experience in insolvency and restructuring to the firm and has the business acumen and technical expertise required to deliver effective legal advice and commercial solutions to our clients. I am sure she will prove a valuable asset to the team.”
