Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) was pleased to be one of the sponsors of Colchester’s Got Talent (CGT), Colchester’s version of Britain’s Got Talent, organised by the Colchester Colne Round Table, which took place on the evening of Friday 9th October 2015 at Colchester Arts Centre, in aid of The Robin Cancer Trust and The Tom Bowdidge Foundation.

The evening was hosted by Toby Freeman, the Chairman of the Robin Cancer Trust, who is responsible for the day to day running of the charity. The audience were treated to a number of great acts which included Colchester MP and event organiser Will Quince singing.

The winner on the evening was 11 year old Sophie Ramsay who has aspirations to sing in the West End and judging by her spellbinding performance on the evening this may well be a dream that could come true. Sophie, whose favourite musical is Wicked, was judged to be the winner by the three-strong panel of judges which included TSP’s very own Corporate and Commercial Solicitor Mary Anne Fedeyko as well as the Round Table’s Matt Eaton and Lynne Buxton from Boydens Estate Agents. Griffin Chapman Accountants and James & Lyndsey Insurance Brokers also sponsored the event

Congratulations to the organisers from Colchester Colne Round Table for a great evening and lots of money raised for teenage cancer charities in Colchester. As soon as we know the final figure we will let you know.
