Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) was pleased to be one of the sponsors of Colchester’s Got Talent (CGT), Colchester’s version of Britain’s Got Talent, organised by the Colchester Colne Round Table, which took place on the evening of Saturday 18 October 2014 at Colchester Arts Centre, in aid of Headway Essex.

The evening was a great success and the 200 strong audience was treated to a variety of different acts ranging from gospel choirs to poetry readers to Steve Sleigh of Mailboxes etc. and his “very sharp” bed of nails. There were two TSP staff  taking part, Emma Cherry, Wills and Estates Legal Secretary, sang “On the Radio” and Will Quince, Residential Property Solicitor, sang “This is My Moment”.

The winner on the evening was 17 year old classical soloist Marilena Gant, who was judged to be the winner by the four-strong panel of judges which included TSP’s very own Corporate and Commercial Solicitor Mary Anne Fedeyko.

Congratulations to the organisers from Colchester Colne Round Table for a great evening and for raising at least £1500 for Headway Essex.
