Thompson Smith and Puxon has teamed up with the CLA and Ensors Chartered Accountants to provide guidance on how to develop a succession plan that positively drives forward both the business and the family’s objectives.
The seminar will be a mix of industry professionals and live case studies. It will explore tactics that enable the family to address the process of transferring a business between generations and introduce key considerations in relation to tax and legal elements in succession planning.
During the seminar you will gain insight from Thompson Smith and Puxon Solicitors, Stephen Firmin, Mary Anne Fedeyko and Fiona Ashworth, who will discuss business structures, asset ownership, wills and powers of attorney. A team of Chartered Accountants from Ensors will talk through the financial implications that should be considered when succession planning.
Tamara Unwin, Director and one of the family owners at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, and her nephew Robert Rendall, Managing Director of Peake Fruit, will tell their story and discuss how they have planned for the future with succession in mind.
