LOCAL FIRM SPONSORS YOUNG THEATRE GROUP
The premier of a new musical written and produced by a young Clacton theatre group has won the backing of local solicitors Thompson Smith & Puxon. Their financial support helps get "Quite Average Jane", written by Scott Morgan and directed by Lucy Mellow, onto the stage at Clacton's West Cliff Theatre on 28-29 March. Clacton Round Table has also given its support.
SEMINAR HIGHLIGHTS HR IMPACT ON BUSINESSES LOCALLY
Julian Baume, HR Manager at Thompson Smith & Puxon, was invited to speak at a seminar held on 29th January 2008 in Ipswich, looking at the role of HR in organisations regionally. The seminar was organised by Pure Resourcing Solutions, a leading independent recruitment consultancy for professional services.
PACKED AUDIENCE IN CLACTON FOR SIR DAVID FROST
Celebrity broadcaster Sir David Frost entertained a capacity audience at Clacton's Princess Theatre last night (28 January) with hilarious personal anecdotes and classic footage of his forty year career in television. The evening was organised by the Clacton Arts & Literary Society and sponsored by solicitors Thompson Smith & Puxon, whose employees and clients were amongst the guests.
EAST ANGLIA FIRMS ADVISE ON LONDON OFFICE OPENING
Essex based solicitors and accountants have helped an international company to open a London office. Thompson Smith & Puxon, which has offices in Colchester and Clacton and accountants Jamesons, whose base is in Clacton, provided support to design agency LPK in establishing their new office.
