Employees at local solicitors Thompson Smith & Puxon in Colchester rolled their sleeves up at lunchtime and got down to some serious fun washing cars for fellow staff and clients in aid of British Heart Foundation.

The sponsored car wash at the firm’s offices on North Hill on 9th June raised £200 for the local branch of British Heart Foundation during their national fund raising week.

“One client who had their car washed by accident is really impressed with our service as a firm. Some real elbow grease went into our labours with the car wash and it was a lot of fun for a very worthy cause”, said Julian Baume, Human Resources Manager at Thompson Smith & Puxon, who organised the event.

Staff also wore red clothes and bought home made cookies to raise further funds.
