Claire Powell is the sole director and proprietor of Claire Powell Limited.  She has been an employee at TS&P since 2001 and has developed her career as part of the corporate and commercial team, providing advice and legal expertise to a wide number of regional and nationally based companies firm's

Ms Powell advises on corporate and commercial matter including professional partnerships, agency, distribution and franchise agreements.

"I am really pleased and excited to be appointed a director and look forward to building on the business relationships I have established here in Colchester and across the region," she said.

"Although the recession has been a difficult time to work through I am very optimistic that Colchester's vibrant business community will bounce back."

Born and educated in Hull, Ms Powell did a law degree before qualifying at the College of Law in York.  She moved to Colchester 10 years ago.  TS&P's corporate and commercial department is led by Mary Anne Fedeyko and includes a new member of the team, solicitor Nick Mayles.

The team draws on in-house expertise in employment law led by Richard Porter, property led by Graham Wilson and litigation led by Mark Cooksley to provide an all-round service to corporate and commercial clients as required.
