Essex firm of solicitors Thompson Smith & Puxon, which has offices in Colchester and Clacton, has appointed Nick Mayles to its corporate & commercial team.

Nick, who lives in Essex, originally trained and practised in London for several years, developing specialist corporate and commercial experience whilst working with companies of all sizes, from sole traders to PLCs.

He says: “Joining Thompson Smith & Puxon gives me a huge opportunity to help develop the firm’s reputation for providing top flight legal expertise to local companies. The TS&P team, which includes Mary Anne Fedeyko and Claire Powell, draws on in-house expertise in employment law (led by Richard Porter), property (led by Graham Wilson) and litigation (led by Mark Cooksley) to provide an all-round service to corporate and commercial clients as required.

Nick graduated from Sheffield University and did his articles training in London, working in the City before moving to Essex. He is married with two children aged six and seven and enjoys golf, squash and other sports.
