Newly qualified solicitor Naomi Eady has become a permanent member of the Thompson Smith & Puxon (TS&P) team, more than 10 years after she first joined the Essex based law firm on a school work experience placement.
Naomi, 26, qualified in August and joins the firm’s Personal Injury team having successfully completed a two year training contract. During this time Naomi gained valuable experience working in TS&P’s Corporate and Commercial, Litigation and Property departments.
Commenting on her appointment Naomi said: “I’ve learnt a huge amount during my training contract and have enjoyed putting this into practice with a wide variety of clients. Having started my work experience with TS&P I have a strong loyalty to the firm and it’s great to know that my career will continue here.”
Naomi got her first taste for the world of law when she joined TS&P’s Colchster office for two weeks’ work experience from Great Cornard Upper School near Sudbury in 1998. She went on to achieve a law degree at Reading University before completing a Legal Practitioner’s Course at the College of Law in London.
Having qualified, Naomi is now working towards her goal of becoming a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel, a team of legal experts in the field.
Steve Webb who leads TS&P’s Personal Injury team said: “We are delighted to welcome Naomi firmly on board. She has made a valuable contribution to the firm during her training contract and we look forward to this continuing in the future.
