December 2006 - They say good things come in threes and that’s certainly true at leading Essex based law firm Thompson Smith & Puxon, where three of the team have recently become new mums – all within the space of three months!

Personal Injury solicitor Claire Sheeran gave birth to daughter Holly in September, closely followed a month later by Alison Laver, a paralegal in TS&P’s Probate department, who now has a baby son called Jordan. Rounding off the trio of proud new mothers is Commercial solicitor Claire Powell whose daughter Anna is two months old.

To celebrate the TS&P ‘baby boom’ all three mothers and babies were presented with a special Christmas hamper at the firm’s Colchester office on North Hill.

Steven Webb, head of Thompson Smith & Puxon’s Personal Injury team, said: “There must be something in the water with three of our staff becoming parents within just three months! We’re very pleased to say all three mums will be returning back to the firm within the next year and we thought it would be a nice seasonal gesture to treat each of them to a Christmas hamper after all those sleepless nights!”

Thompson Smith & Puxon employs 80 staff at its offices in Colchester and Clacton.
