Essex firm of solicitors Thompson Smith & Puxon, which has offices in Colchester and Clacton, has appointed Sean Stuttaford as Chief Operating Officer.
Sean joined the firm in 2001 as head of the firms IT department and later was appointed as its Operations Director. He has worked in the legal sector for 12 years and is completing a Masters of Business Administration in Legal Practice Management at Nottingham Law School. His early career was with the Civil Service and the Home Office.
He said: “The business environment is forever evolving, with major influences today being the Web, new technology and the economy. In my new role at TS&P I’ll be steering the development of the firm to ensure we are always adaptable to our clients’ needs and providing services in a way which suits them.”
As well as his role at TS&P Sean is a product advisor for LexisNexis legal case management software. Sean lives near Colchester with his wife and in his spare time enjoys playing golf (not very well) at Clacton-On-Sea Golf Club where he is a member.
